Barca, Barca, Barca!!

So as most of my readers know, I am an avid FC Barcelona fan. I have been a FCB fan for quite a while now.
They have created quite a stir of news recently. With the signing of Spanish Striker, David Villa. The hopeful inking of Arsenal Captain Cesc Fabregas. And what to do with Big Bird himself, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Well, here is my take on the situation.

Villa Signing:
David Villa is a phenomenal Striker. He will compliment the passing style of play that Barca uses. He will be used like an Eto'o-esque player up top, and obviously that worked for the Catalan club before.
But some one up top has to go, and its not Messi, Ibra is gone!

Cesc's Return:
Though Arsenal says that their captain, Spanish international midfielder, Cesc Fabregas is not for sale... everyone has a price. Think about how stacked the Barcelona midfield would be. Xavi, Fabregas and Iniesta. Can you get any better then that? I will say it now...they will win La Liga and The Champions League if Cesc returns.

Say Bye Bye Ibra:
With the addition of Zlatan last summer, Barcelona spent upwards of 60 some million Euros and lost Eto'o to Inter. Yes, it would be a waste of money to get rid of him, but can you really play with that many strikers. You'll have Henry and Pedro and Bojan on the bench (that is if Henry doesn't come to the USA). Zlatan definitely didn't live up to the hype when he was signed last year, you got to change it up sometimes. Don't Worry Barca, you will get a lot of money from a team in need of a tall striker. Goal.com reported that Manchester United and City, Tottenham and a few more European powers in soccer are looking at the possibility of signing Ibra. Well, good riddance Ibra, you won't be missed, like all of the goal chances you missed.

The Countdown is on

Nike just released this ad today. It is possibly one of the sickest looking ads (and by sick I mean good sick). Take a look for your self...

I could watch this over and over and over. Whats better then Drogba, Rooney, Ribery?
Why is it that Nike has had so many amazing ads leading up to the 2010 World Cup?
As we all know Adidas is the official sponsor. But expect to see Nike more starting on June 11th.

Comment please!

Qatar, My favorite for the 2022 World Cup

In my sports class today we saw this video introducing Qatar's bid for the 2022 World Cup. It blew my mind. This video alone should scare off any other bidding countries. They sure do have a lot of money! See for yourself...
